Cookies Policy
What cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.
Effective Date: 1 September 2026 · Last Updated: 1 September 2026 · TFP Software FZCO — UAE
1. Introduction
TFP Software FZCO (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. This Cookies Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can manage them.
This policy reflects our commitment to compliance with data protection laws across the globe, including but not limited to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, the European Union (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, the United Kingdom (UK GDPR and PECR), the United States (CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA), Australia (Privacy Act), Canada (PIPEDA), Türkiye (KVKK), and all other applicable jurisdictions.
We have drawn inspiration from leading financial services and trading platforms to ensure this policy meets the highest standards of transparency and regulatory compliance. Regardless of your location, we are committed to ensuring your privacy is respected and your rights are protected.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which sets out how and why we collect, store, use, and share personal information generally, as well as your rights in relation to your personal information.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you access websites. They are used to improve website performance, remember your preferences, and collect data for analytical purposes.
Cookies typically do not store personal information directly but may link to data you provide to enhance your user experience.
Cookies can be classified by:
| Classification | Description |
|---|---|
| First-party cookies | Created and used by the website you are visiting for its own functionality |
| Third-party cookies | Created by external services integrated into the website to enhance functionality or track activity |
| Session cookies | Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser |
| Persistent cookies | Remain on your device for a set duration or until manually deleted |
Cookies allow websites to “remember” your actions or preferences over a period of time. In and of themselves, cookies are harmless bits of text that are locally stored and can easily be viewed and deleted.
3. Types of Cookies
Cookies can be classified by their lifespan and by the website to which they belong.
Lifespan of cookies
- Session cookies are temporary and deleted once you close your web browser.
- Persistent cookies may stay on your device for a long time after the session has ended.
Website cookies
- First-party cookies belong to the website you are browsing — for example, a cookie used to identify you when you log in.
- Third-party cookies belong to a different website from the one you are visiting — for example, advertising tracking cookies.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
Cookies are commonly grouped into the four categories below. Only the first applies to this website — the other three are listed so you can see exactly what we have chosen not to do.
Strictly Necessary / Essential Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly. They enable basic functions like page navigation, requests for services, secure logins, and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies. They do not store any personally identifiable information.
The law states that we can store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. This is consistent with the ePrivacy Directive and its implementation across EU Member States, as well as the UAE PDPL, the KSA PDPL, and other applicable laws worldwide.
Under the UAE PDPL, consent must be explicit and provided via affirmative action; pre-ticked boxes are not permitted. Similarly, the KSA PDPL requires explicit, informed consent before placing non-essential cookies on user devices.
Performance / Analytics Cookies
These collect information about how you use the website, which pages you visit, and whether you encounter errors. They allow a site to count visits and traffic sources in order to measure and improve performance.
Functional Cookies
These enable a website to remember choices you have made and to tailor the site to your needs — for example a language selection or other saved preferences.
Targeting / Advertising Cookies
These are used to deliver relevant ads and marketing campaigns. They track visitors across websites and collect information to build a profile of your interests and show you adverts on other sites.
5. Cookies We Use
The table below lists everything this website stores on your device and why. All of it is strictly necessary and therefore does not require prior consent under applicable laws.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Keeps you signed in to your dashboard and ends the session after a period of inactivity. Stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie. | Until you sign out, or 1 hour idle | First-party | Strictly necessary — consent not required under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive |
| tfp_ref | Records which partner referred you, so their commission is credited correctly if you subscribe. | 30 days | First-party | Strictly necessary — consent not required |
| tfp_cookie_notice | Remembers that you have already seen our cookie notice, so it is not shown on every visit. | 12 months | First-party | Strictly necessary — consent not required |
| Security and anti-bot | Protects the site against bots, fraud, and abuse, and verifies that sign-up, sign-in, and contact form submissions are made by a person (Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile). | Session to 30 days | Third-party (Cloudflare) | Strictly necessary — consent not required |
| Checkout | Would be set by our payment partner when you open the secure checkout, solely to process your subscription payment. Not currently set: subscriptions are not open, so no checkout can be opened and no such cookie is placed on your device. | Session (when checkout is open) | Third-party (payment partner) | Strictly necessary — consent not required |
Important
We do not use any of the following:
- Analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics)
- Functional cookies for language or region preferences
- Targeting or advertising cookies
- Third-party cookies for marketing or analytics purposes
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
Our video guides are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode and load nothing until you press play. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy accordingly and obtain your explicit, prior consent before placing them on your device.
6. Third-Party Cookies
We use no third-party cookies for marketing, advertising, or analytics, and we do not permit any third party to track you across other websites through our site.
Cloudflare sets strictly necessary cookies as part of delivering the service you requested, and is listed above. A second third party — our payment partner — would set a session cookie at checkout, but subscriptions are not currently open, so none is set today:
- Cloudflare — protects the site against bots, fraud, and abuse, and powers the human-verification check on our sign-up, sign-in, and contact forms. Without it we cannot keep the site available and secure.
- Our payment partner — would set a cookie only when you open the secure checkout, and only to process your payment. Subscriptions are not open at present, so this does not currently happen.
If we introduce any further third-party cookies in future, we will:
- Update this policy to disclose the third parties involved
- Obtain your explicit, prior consent
- Provide you with the ability to manage your preferences for each category of cookies
7. Consent to Use Cookies
Because we use strictly necessary cookies only, we do not require your consent before placing them on your device. They are essential for the website to function and are set automatically when you access our website — so there is nothing here for you to accept, reject, or configure.
How we inform you
We inform you of our use of cookies through a short notice shown on your first visit. The notice:
- Explains that we use strictly necessary cookies only
- Links to this Cookies Policy and to our Privacy Policy
- Asks you for no decision — it is dismissed with a single "Got it", because consent is not required for necessary cookies
Dismissing the notice is an acknowledgement that you have seen it. It is recorded only in your own browser, for 12 months, so we do not show it again on every visit — it is not a consent record, and it is not treated as permission for anything.
Compliance with global regulations
- EU (GDPR & ePrivacy Directive): Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement. The GDPR does not require consent for cookies that are essential for the service explicitly requested by the user.
- UAE PDPL: Under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, strict adherence to consent requirements is mandated for non-essential cookies; necessary cookies that are essential for website functionality are exempt.
- KSA PDPL: Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, explicit consent is required for non-essential cookies, but strictly necessary cookies are exempt.
- Türkiye (KVKK): The use of non-essential cookies is subject to explicit consent, while strictly necessary cookies are exempt.
- UK (PECR): Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is not required for strictly necessary cookies.
Withdrawing consent
As we ask for no cookie consent, there is none to withdraw. If you wish to manage or delete the cookies we set, you can do so at any time through your browser settings — see section 8. Please note that blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website from functioning correctly.
If this ever changes
8. Managing Your Cookies
You can control your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies from your device. However, disabling strictly necessary cookies may impact the functionality of the website.
| Browser | Instructions |
|---|---|
| Google Chrome | Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data |
| Mozilla Firefox | Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data |
| Apple Safari | Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data |
| Microsoft Edge | Settings → Cookies and site permissions |
Please note
Blocking or deleting cookies and site data may prevent you from fully benefitting from all features of our website, including:
- Your login session and dashboard access — this is held in your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie, so it survives clearing cookies alone, but is lost if you clear “cookies and site data” or browse in private mode
- Partner referral attribution
- Checkout and subscription payment, once subscriptions are open
- The security and anti-bot checks that protect our sign-up, sign-in, and contact forms
